CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Mar. 23, 2009: he United States Men's soccer team has announced the players who will train for the April 1 match versus Trinidad and Tobago`s Soca Warriors.
Bob Bradley announced that the team will come from 22 players who have been called up to train.
Of the 22, 11 players who started in the American's 2-0 victory over Mexico in February are in the camp that began on Sunday. Among them are Aston Villa's Brad Guzan and Marcus Hahnemann from Reading.
The U.S. backline of Heath Pearce, Carlos Bocanegra, Oguchi Onyewu, and Frankie Hejduk along with Xerex's Jozy Altidore, youngsters Freddy Adu, Michael Bradley, Jose Francisco Torres, and Sacha Kljestan are all part of the training squad.
One surprise is the return of Eddie Johnson. West Ham's Jonathan Spector and Watford's Jay DeMerit are two other players returning to the U.S. camp after extended absences. The full training squad is as follows:
