CaribWorldNews, PORt-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Mon. June 2, 2008: Trinidad & Tobago`s Soca Warriors again proved they could not beat the English boys, who last night scored a 3-0 victory in Trinidad.
Trinidad fans at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port-Of-Spain were yesterday sorely disappointed as the English soccer squad gave their home side a whopping. Gareth Barry added the first goal within fifteen minutes while Jermain Defoe double scored for the English to hand them an easy 3-0 win.
The Soca Warriors had their best spell of the second half with twenty minutes remaining, putting pressure on goalkeeper Hart with a sustained period of pressure through corners and long-throws into the box, but they did not succeed in netting a goal.
